Getting the Shot...

When the girls are dressed for a special occasion - in this case Dick's birthday which we celebrated out on the island of strong last weekend - we always try to sit them together for a photo opportunity. And the same parade of emotions always unfolds...like clockwork....

Lucy: "So you're really gonna put me in this chair by myself then? Even though I lack the spinal fortitude and spatial coordination to remain upright for more than 3 seconds? That's really happening?

Lucy: "Oh look....I'm falling over....what a shocking development....so sudden....so unforeseen...mayday....baby down..."


Putting these two together this close is like reaching into your pocket, grabbing a hand grenade, pulling the pin and watching what happens next....


Oh....what do you know? Ginger wants to know where the eject button is and Lucy begins her operatic opening....


Finally Lucy took control of the situation and demanded that her sister calm down and look pretty for the camera. So composed for a 5 month old....


And then suddenly all was right in the universe for Ginger and Lucy...
