First Words

Lucy decided to make her first words count...at 8:06AM this morning she looked me straight in the eye and said "da da." All it took was me staring at her for 30 minutes before that saying "da da" over and over and over again.


Oh - and after she said "da da"...she said..."can you pass me the remote? ...Now that I am able to communicate I'd like you to know that an entire morning spent watching the Sunday news shows is not appropriate for a girl my age...you got that 'da da'?...if that's your real name."
